Finding Funding

Finding the right funding opportunity is the first step in securing support for your project. The PDO provides resources for grant searches and offers tailored searches to help you find new funding sources.

The PDO disseminates notable funding and research opportunities on the NCSA Slack channel #res_opportunities. We also post them on our wiki and share a select few on our monthly updates newsletter.

On request: The PDO will do tailored searches using the Sponsored Programs Information Network (SPIN). SPIN is a comprehensive database containing over 40,000 funding opportunities from more than 10,000 federal, public, non-profit, and private sponsors. Email us to request a search.
